Another 2 qualified proofreaders through distance learning!

A distance learning college have had yet another two students newly qualify as proof readers, both receiving the fully accredited and fully nationally recognised diploma which is offered by the distance learning college, with well another well over 60 courses to choose from!
Katie Nimo studied the proofreading course because she said she has always wanted to work with books and publishing. Here is a full review of what Katie said about the proofreading course. “I have wanted to work with books and publishing ever since I was young, and this course has definitely excelled all of my expectations. It was so thorough, easy to understand and all in all very interesting. The tutor support was excellent, and the communication was superb. I did not have any issues with on of the communication. Help was always available to me, even for questions I thought were silly. Support was there whenever I needed it, no matter what and the response never kept me waiting for more than a day at a time! The content was very thorough and covered a decent spread of techniques, tasks and advice. I learnt how to be a proofreader, and I loved it. I’ve always had the ability to spot errors in ranges of text so to be able to learn how to harness it and use it in a professional manor is great. It also gave me a lesson in self-discipline to make sure I got on with the work, and got me away from any distractions. To be honest I really cannot fault what I studies at all. I learnt everything I need to know about being a successful proofreader and I am really happy with the results I got.
