Botho varsity begins distance learning programme

Botswana’s Botho University has kicked off its Distance Learning programme in Nigeria with an offer of affordable, qualitative and internationally accredited educational qualifications.

This was made known in a statement on Monday which disclosed that Bachelors and Master’s degrees from the faculties of Business and Accounting, Computing, Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism,  Engineering, Applied Sciences, Health and Education, were available in the university’s online learning platform.

The Vice-Chancellor and Managing Director of the university, Sheela Raja Ram said the institution, which has four thriving campuses in Maseru, Lesotho; Windhoek, Namibia; Gaborone and Francistown in Botswana, would afford Nigerians the opportunity to realise their dreams of quality education.

Ram said, “We are confident of that in Nigeria, where thousands are turning to proven and alternative means of attaining university degrees, Botho University will become an integral player in building an economically diversified, fast growing, and prosperous Africa built on integrity, excellence, inclusiveness and financial viability.”
