New distance learning small animal medicine programme launches

Veterinary CPD company Improve International will launch a distance learning version of its small animal medicine postgraduate certificate in January.
The comprehensive 20-module medicine programme, covering all of the major body systems of cats and dogs, aims to offer a route for vets without the time to participate in an attendance programme or who work in countries where this type of training is not available, the opportunity to study for a recognised postgraduate qualification.
Module tutor
Delegates will have a module tutor and a dedicated programme tutor, who works with individual delegates to ensure they are supported throughout the programme. Features include:
- Interactive modules to enable delegates to absorb the learning materials in an online environment.
- Real-life case studies to support relating learning back to practice.
- Presentations, written notes, interactive quizzes and exercises to test knowledge.
- The opportunity to extend knowledge or progress to achieving a recognised qualification, General Practitioner Certificate or a Postgraduate Certificate.
